Watch Viewer
Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
Watch Viewer (watchviewer.net) is a small personal project run by Grant Feldman. This page explains what it keeps about you, who else handles it, and how to delete it.
What Watch Viewer keeps
- Your Google account details. When you sign in with Google, Watch Viewer gets your name, email address and profile picture. They're used to show who's signed in.
- Your watches. The watches, notes, photos, profiles and settings you add are saved to your account, so they're on every device you sign in on.
- Visits. Google Analytics counts page views, along with your rough location and the kind of device and browser you use, to show how the site is used. It sets cookies to do this. It isn't linked to your account or your watches.
- On your device. Your browser keeps your theme choices, which account was last signed in, copies of your photos so they don't download again, and any backups you make with Back up to browser. These stay on that device.
What it doesn't do
- Your information is never sold or used for advertising.
- Other people can't see your watches. Only someone signed in to your account can read them.
- As the site owner, I can reach the stored data through Firebase's admin tools. I'll only look if you ask me to help with a problem.
Who else handles it
- Google Firebase handles sign-in and stores your account, watches and photos.
- Google Analytics counts page views.
- Google Fonts supplies the site's fonts, so Google sees your IP address when they load.
- Amazon Web Services serves the website itself.
Each of these handles your information under its own privacy policy, and may store it outside Australia.
Deleting your information
- You can delete any watch or photo at any time from the watch editor.
- To delete everything, sign in, open the account menu (your picture, top right) and choose Delete account. Your account, watches, profiles and photos are removed straight away and can't be brought back, so use Export JSON first if you'd like a copy.
- Backups and photo copies kept in your browser stay until you clear this site's data in your browser's settings.
Children
Watch Viewer isn't meant for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
